The 32-year wait did come to an end on Sunday as Albion beat Manchester United in a league game at the Hawthorns for the first time since 1984.
Albion managed to maintain their unbeaten record at the King Power / Walkers Stadium and thereby also maintain this season as their second best in the Premier League. 36 points from 28 games is bettered only by the 2012/13 total of 40 points at the same point.
Once again, Tony Pulis succeeded in galvanising his team into pulling a result out of the bag, even though they nearly through it away, thereby producing back-to-back Premier League wins for the third time this season.
