Albion’s Premier League Season Comparison – 19 games

Published on: Author: Jon Want

The hard-fought victory at St Mary’s means that Albion have recorded three Premier League victories in December for the first time, and they move above Southampton to finish 2016 in 8th place, their highest year-end position since 2012.

Historically, the first fixture of a new year has not been too successful in Albion’s Premier League season but in the last three years, the Baggies are unbeaten winning both of their home games and drawing away at West Ham two years ago.

That, of course, was the last fixture before Tony Pulis took the reins at the Hawthorns so Monday’s fixture against Hull City will see him complete two full years in charge.
