Albion’s Premier League Season Comparison – 25 games

Published on: Author: Jon Want

Albion left it late, but they kept up their record of only losing once this season to teams outside the current top eight (the 1-0 defeat in Bournemouth), and it is Eddie Howe’s men that the Baggies face next at the Hawthorns in a fortnight’s time.

The point in east London means that Albion are three points better off than they were at the same stage in their best Premier League season to date, and a win against the Cherries will see them hit that 40-point barrier before the end of February. Albion have not lost game 26 since their last relegation season in 2009.
