Albion’s Premier League Season Comparison – 34 games

Published on: Author: Jon Want

Arguably, Albion could have easily won any of their last three home games, but all three were lost 1-0 and Tony Pulis’s team have set an unwelcome club record of five games without scoring.

Gary Megson’s relegated team of 2002/3 held the previous record, and it is particularly perplexing that the current team could still set a club record Premier League points total – two wins from their last four games would see the Baggies hit the 50 point mark, as unlikely as it might seem given their current form.

The 2017 Baggies are now four points worse off than their record-holding equivalents from 2013.
