It didn’t look likely when Mo Salah put Liverpool two up with 18 minutes left, but Jake Livermore pulled one back with his first Albion goal and Salomón Rondón scored the equaliser with two minutes to go to maintain Darren Moore’s unbeaten record.
The past fortnight has brought a dramatic change in B71, one that is a mixture of pride and frustration as Darren Moore’s leadership has proved that there is still a decent team at the Hawthorns, but why did the powers-that-be leave it so late to make the change?

While the appointment of Darren Moore was welcomed by Baggies fans, and he did “stop the rot” by winning a point against Swansea last weekend, it doesn’t change too much in that the Baggies are still dead certs to go down, and the run in doesn’t look particularly easy.
Big Dave’s first game in charge almost produced the victory that Albion fans craved, but a point at least brought the losing streak to an end.
