The Baggies’ record of eight points from the first five games is a good start to the season, but having not won since game two, it does seem like a lost opportunity.
Furthermore, when you consider the fixtures we have played, it doesn’t seem that impressive given that in the equivalent fixtures last season, the points return was eleven.
However, the start to the season is always difficult as new players are integrated into the squad, and if you are looking for positive omens, the last time Albion went to the Emirates in game six, they came away with all three points.
